The Project for Modern Democracy

 

Nick chairs The Project for Modern Democracy, an independent, non-party think tank set up to promote more efficient government and good citizenship.  P4MD is a registered charity no. 1154924. Its formal aims are:

  1. The promotion of efficient government.

  2. The advancement of education to inform and contribute to overall public knowledge on issues of government, public administration and public service delivery.

  3. The promotion of civic responsibility and good citizenship for the public benefit.

 
 

P4MD's first project, GovernUp, was launched in 2014 to promote more effective and efficient government, with better economic and social outcomes for the British public.

P4MD has since broadened its research areas with new projects covering international development, global LGBT rights and citizenship, housing and planning, economic policy and justice and security issues.
